How It Started
How It Started
Joe Walker picked up his first swivel knife in 1984, cutting belts in a garage outside Stonewall, Oklahoma. There were no tutorials, no shortcuts — just a well-worn copy of Al Stohlman's leathercraft manual and an unwavering commitment to producing work he could be proud of.
Word spread the way it always does in small towns — slowly, then all at once. Cowboys came looking for stirrups and tack that could handle real work. Riders wanted saddlebags built to fit their specific bike. Families commissioned Bible covers and keepsakes meant to be treasured and passed down for generations. Joe built every one of them by hand.
Today, Joe builds it all — Western gear, Bible covers, money clips, custom logo pieces, belts, wallets, holsters, and motorcycle saddlebags. Every piece remains a custom commission, hand-cut, hand-stitched, and hand-finished in the same Stonewall workshop. If you can envision it, Joe can build it — and build it to last.

Full-grain or nothing.
Joe works exclusively with full-grain leather — the strongest, most durable layer of the hide. It ages beautifully and outlasts everything else on the market.
Hand-stitched, always.
Machines sew fast. Joe sews right. Every seam is hand-stitched with waxed thread using a saddle stitch that will not unravel even if a single loop breaks.
